Angeln am Bach: Herkunft und Ziel des Tempelbaches (Hes. 47,1-12)
MetadataShow full item record
German lecture about the various methods and techniques being used for the exegesis of Ezek. 47,1-12, from historical-critical to reader-oriented. The author tries to show that some approaches are lost in interesting details and forget to concentrate on the focus of the text. He concludes that the pericope is a rare specimen of a (literally) flowing narrative, that contrasts rather sharply with the surrounding texts about the building of the temple and the rules of admissions of various classes of people. The openness of the narrative towards the fertility of Gods presence in the temple makes it into a text of hope amidst texts full of anxiety and fear.
